Devenir Method

A NEW PERSPECTIVE ON PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZING

The spaces we inhabit are more than the backdrop to our lives—they are containers for our becoming. They hold our habits, histories, identities, aspirations, and the rhythms of everyday life.

Our environments can either limit or support our capacity to act, create, and live fully. As our lives evolve, the spaces around us may no longer reflect who we are or what we want to make room for.

The Devenir Method is an intention-driven approach to organizing homes, businesses, and studios that works with both your physical environment and the patterns that shape how you inhabit it—creating spaces that function for you, reflect you, and support what comes next.

What This Work Can Shift

Breaking recurring patterns

•

A whole-home project addressing the relationship between physical systems and the habits that repeatedly undermine them. Alongside spatial reorganization, we're identifying the patterns that contribute to recurring disorder and developing systems designed to support more sustainable routines.

Dressing for the present chapter

•

A closet and wardrobe transformation centered on a new chapter of life. Beyond organizing clothing, we're reconsidering what belongs in the wardrobe now, releasing pieces associated with earlier chapters, and making room for clothing that reflects who the client is today.

Creating room for activity

•

A play area overwhelmed by mixed supplies and underused surfaces was reorganized into activity-based zones designed around the children's habits, reducing spillover into shared living spaces.

Restoring everyday usability

•

A large walk-in pantry containing food, appliances, and household supplies was reorganized into intuitive categories tailored to the household's routines, improving visibility, accessibility, and ease of use.

Supporting operational flow

•

A workspace where tools and inventory were routinely misplaced was reorganized around the team's workflow, creating designated storage and work areas to reduce friction and support daily operations.

  • "Caro didn’t just help me organize my home and business—she taught me an approach to clutter that I still use months later. As someone with ADHD, rigid systems don’t work for me. She helped me harness my capabilities and align my space with my specific goals, and her serenity and warmth inspired confidence throughout the process."

    Arden, Los Angeles

  • “Caro has organized three out-of-control spaces in my very large, very active home. Her almost zen-like approach to my ‘I’ll get to it later’ attitude has been nearly miraculous. The sense of order she creates brings real serenity.”

    Melody, Denver

  • "Caro's caring, patient, yet persistent approach encouraged me to reimagine my space—a place that now speaks to me and sparks my imagination. I really appreciate how she helped me define homes for my things and align them with my intentions. My space has never felt this put together!"

    Daniel, Los Angeles
